Selangor and Federal Territory
The Psoriasis Association (PA) of Selangor and Federal Territory is a registered, non-profit, self-help, lay organisation of psoriasis sufferers started in 1987 to help improve the life of people with psoriasis and their families. It is funded by public donations, membership dues and grants from friends in the pharmaceutical industry and is served by a Medical Advisor who is a dermatologist from the Dermatological Society of Malaysia.
Its main goals are:
1. To increase public awareness and acceptance of psoriasis
2. To provide continuing education and information to persons with psoriasis
3. To provide a support group for persons with psoriasis and their families
